Popular photography: annual readers' contest - winner of landscape category
March 2017
I won the landscape category of the Popular Photography's 2016 annual readers' contest with my image of Vøringsfossen in Norway. I was extremely happy for this award and it was nice to see my image in their printed magazine that just arrived by post. Unfortunately the 2017 March/April issue that I was published in will be the last ever popular photography magazine as they are forced to close operation after 80 years of continuous production. The first issue was printed in 1937 before world war two meaning that this was among the most established photography magazines in the industry.
